Roads
and Environment Safety Center "RESC"
"RESC" is an
independent, non-profit Palestinian association specialized in road
and environment safety. RESC was established by the end of the year
2000. It is the sole center in Palestine with respect to its designated
mandate. The Objectives of RESC are the following:

Increasing awareness on road and environment
safety issues.
* Conducting research on the environmental damage that results from
traffic-related poisonous gasses and material.
* Organizing conferences, lectures, advocacy campaigns that aim at increasing
the safety on the roads and reducing pollution.
* Encouraging individual and collective initiatives to achieve the goal
of road and environmental safety.
* Studying the social, economic, and political impacts of the roads
in general and the Israeli by-pass roads specifically.
* Presenting suggestions and recommendations to government bodies and
municipalities to undertake practical precautions to prevent road accidents
and environmental pollution.

"TOWARDS SAFE ROAD AND CLEAN ENVIRONMENT"
"RESC", is the sole center in Palestine with respect

One of "RESC', main objectives is. Increasing awareness on road and
environment safety issue, this can be achieved by Organizing conferences,
lectures, advocacy campaigns that aim at increasing the safety on the
roads and reducing pollution.
